Waiting for the Salsa party, I decided to spend this free time in a nostalgic and night walk in Noto, my beautiful and flamboyant hometown.

2 years have passed from my move to Ispica and this was the perfect occasion to remember my life spent here.

I dedicate these pictures both to my clients who visited Noto with me and the next who will visit the poetic baroque town listening the voice of local guide fallen in love (innamorato❤️) of his hometown and entire Sicily.

It was one of the most beautiful educational activities I spent with my dear colleagues - touristic guides of Taormina nd Syracuse:
Part 1 of the day: a truly unique private visit to the Castle of Sant'Alessio Siculo reserved only for us, very special guest of the last noble owner
The morning was very sunny and the landscape from the top of the tower was breathtaking and amazing!!! The perfect day! This Norman Castle (XI sec) recounts the millennial history of Sicily overlooking the Strait of Messina between Sicily and Calabria.

Part 2 of the day was reserved for the visit of the Church dedicated to the Apostles Saints Peter and Paul in Forza d'Agrò, another incredible brilliant architecture mixing byzantine, Arabic and Normal style (XII sec)

Very proud to be Sicilian tourist guide and May God Bless Sicily.

Do you want to discover south eastern sicily?

On January 19 and 20 a terrible "Medicane" hit the south eastern corner of Sicily. Extraordinary very strong wind and storm surges provoke the disappearing of a very long front of the beach between the Ionian and Mediterranean sector.
It is an historical record!
This morning, the day after, I turned around the coastline between Santa Maria del Focallo (sea district of Ispica, where I live) and Pozzallo.

The pics show the results of these incredible seascapes after the storm.

This morning I had a beautiful tour in my new living town of Ispica with an interested group of Tour Operators from different European countries.
This picture was shot in the access of the Cava D'Ispica canyon where a rocky church, rock cut dwellings, and an ancient stronghold stand in the deep valley. A full immersion in this 4.000 Year of history: troglodytism, late baroque, art nouveau and unbelievable Natural landscape of the Canyon.
The tour had the welcoming greetings by the Major of Ispica and at the end of the tour a refreshement offered by Proloco di Ispica. Special thank!
