Closing conference of the Museumcultour project will be held on 26th of May in Postojna, Slovenia.

Seven partners, associates and projects stakeholders from Adriatic Region will gather in Notranjska Museum Postojna to present the Museumcultour main results in strengthening the cultural tourism.

The participants will be guided through the two newly opened permanent exhibitions, dedicated to karst phenomena, both staged in Postojna:

- Karst Museum Postojna can be seen as a reference point for demonstrating “classical karst” in Slovenia and wider area

- EXPO Postojnska jama kras is the exhibition about the karst and Postojna cave and represent an important addition to the existing range of products and services and enhancement of the earlier interpretation of the cave which visitors previously did not have the opportunity to learn about.

The largest exhibition about the karst and Postojna Cave, as its most unique feature, will be staged in the Postojna Cave Park, in the building at the beginning of the promenade.
EXPO Postojnska jama kras is an important addition to the existing range of products and services and enhancement of the earlier interpretation of the cave through new contents which visitors previously did not have the opportunity to learn about. It is the largest permanent exhibition about the cave and the karst phenomena around the world.
The exhibition features interactive presentations of contents that speak volumes about the formation and extraordinary history of the tourism-related development of the most famous show cave in the world. Visitors will get to learn about the karst and karst phenomena through projections of various contents onto a three-dimensional model, discover the peculiarities of the karst environment and learn about all superlatives and milestones attributed to Postojna Cave on the Wall of Fame. As one of the highlights of the exhibition, visitors will virtually descend from the surface into the Postojna Cave passages and halls and thus get a sense of the vastness of the largest cave system.
The exhibition will be of interest to visitors who are not familiar with the karst or caves and to experts alike.
Special attention will be devoted to children, who will be guided through the exhibition interactively by the olm and the slenderneck beetle.

profondità del mare attraverso immagini suggestive

14.30 - 17.30 Rievocazione storica di una tipica giornata di lavoro
nella Manifattura degli anni ’60 tra gli ambienti riscaldati
dal calore dei camini accesi per l’occasione e con possibilità di
degustare i prodotti marinati realizzati ancora oggi nella fabbrica

Vi ricordiamo gli appuntamenti gratuiti di questo weekend al Museo del Cervo e del Bosco della Mesola AQUA - I Viaggi nel Delta:

Venerdì 5 e sabato 6 dicembre dalle 9.30 alle 12.30 il Museo proporrà laboratori didattici per le scuole. Sabato dalle 21.30 alle 23.30 partirà un’escursione notturna a caccia di suoni e richiami del popolo della notte. Domenica 7 dicembre, alle ore 10 inaugurazione della mostra “Adriatic Photo Exhibition” , seguirà la presentazione del libro “Gatti e gufi” di M. Mastrorilli, premio miglior gufologo del mondo per l’ anno 2015 e dalle 14.30 alle 17.30, sarà la volta di un’escursione nel bosco accompagnati da M. Mastrorilli, alla ricerca delle tracce di rapaci notturni, seguita dalla visita alla mostra “Le fate della notte” sulle civette del mondo!
