Yesterday when I finished my tour of Saint Anthony's basilica, the square was amazing. And my group of pilgrims was really astonished by the beauty of the basilica with its blue background.

The clock was created in the Middle ages and it is curiously missing one of the zodiac signs, can you guess which one?

The map of Padua (with its ancient name Patavium) at the Vatican Gallery of Maps (Vatican Museum).

In 1580 the Pope Gregory XIII commissioned Ignazio Danti the decoration of the gallery with frescoes depicting topographical maps of Italy. The result is an interesting representation of Italy at the end of the XVIth century.
