We currently operate in Palermo, Catania, Taormina, Venice, Florence and Naples. We run small group tours (up to 10) but also private customized tours led by local food guides. Our tours are designed for travelers who want to feel Italy, and they know that the only way to do this is hanging out with Italians. Everything at Streaty is Made in Italy: the company, the office staff, the guides, the ve

ndors and the foods we share on our tours! We believe in the concept of "local" as uncontaminated cultural value. As tour guides, we enjoy very much spending time with foreigners in a convivial mood. We don't simply share information and we don't give history classes. We see beyond dates and names, we want travelers to immerse themselves in our culture, we want travelers to feel Italy, and feeling means experiencing. We see food and wine as the most effective key to explain what being Italians means.

Our Story

Streaty is an Italian tour operator based in Palermo (Sicily), the place where all the story begun! We were the pioneers of street food tours in Sicily. Following the successful Palermo experience, we decided to expand our tasty business in other cities. We now run street food walking tours in Palermo, Catania, Venice and Florence. Our mission is to deliver authentic food experiences. Our guiding principle is very easy. We walk travellers around as they were friends visiting us in town. Streaty attitude is very easy and laid-back. We share with foodies the same tips and stories we would share with our friends without filters of any kind. We see food as the beating heart of a culture, carrying in its flavours memories from the past and unveiling the intimate secrets of locals’ daily life. We are all Italian, passionate about our native city and​​ its cuisine. Unlike other competitors, we have all the required licenses and operate in compliance with the Italian Tourism Law.
