Others take shape around the people, their interests, and their desire to discover a place in their own way. ❤️

Marci and Brandon chose to experience Abruzzo through a series of private, fully customized experiences, created around what they wanted to discover during their stay.

Their journey took them from the breathtaking heights of Rocca Calascio to the timeless village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, surrounded by mountains, history, and the quiet beauty of Abruzzo’s inland landscapes.

We continued with a visit to Cantine Bosco, before heading into the heart of Pescara to discover the city through its food, local traditions, and stories.

And then there was the sea.

Sailing along the coast offered a different perspective on Abruzzo, followed by the unforgettable scenery of the Costa dei Trabocchi, where the Adriatic Sea meets one of the most distinctive stretches of our coastline.

Different places, different experiences, and so many ways to get to know a region.

But beyond the places we visited, what truly matters are the moments shared along the way.

The conversations, the laughter, the unexpected discoveries, and those little moments that turn a trip into something more meaningful.

Because for us at GustAbruzzo, this is what travel is all about: creating experiences around the people who live them, rather than asking everyone to follow the same itinerary.

Quattro ospiti arrivati dall’Inghilterra, una mattina a Pescara e un modo semplice per conoscere l’Abruzzo: partendo dal suo cibo e dalle persone che lo rendono speciale.

Abbiamo iniziato dal mercato locale, tra banchi di frutta e verdura di stagione, pesce fresco, formaggi, salumi e tanti prodotti che fanno parte della quotidianità di questa terra.

Perché un mercato non è solo un luogo dove acquistare cibo. È un pezzo di vita della città: è fatto di persone, incontri, gesti quotidiani e storie da ascoltare.

Camminando tra i banchi abbiamo assaggiato alcuni dei sapori più autentici di Pescara e dell’Abruzzo, scoprendo ingredienti, tradizioni e curiosità che spesso non si trovano sulle guide turistiche.

Quattro viaggiatori inglesi sono arrivati per conoscere Pescara attraverso la sua cucina.
