One can even live in tuscany without being aware of this disaster (there's no other word for it!). Artists are such due to their open mind and special sensibility, so they're all invited to walk in and to follow this meeting.

"Grotta delle Cruci" (Rock of Crosses) on a flat schist flint in a chestnut wood. Outskirts of Massa. Crosses carved all over, covering an older pattern of "coppelle" (you can still see one in the very bottom): pre-christian holes whose significance is still in doubt.

We're in Corfino, upper Garfagnana. This sandstone capital must've been carved bent on purpose!

A "pennato", a traditional sickle-ax also used as a weapon by the pre-roman locals, carved many centuries ago into a marble rock. Monte Sumbra, Apuan Alps, far away from any signed track.
