Pizzo is one of the last few remaining untainted vacation spots found in Italy- a hidden gem. This cliffside fisherman's village is situated along the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The apartment is located only 300m away from the beach and is less than a 5 minute drive from the town's historical centre-making it perfect for families who wish to get away from the sounds come bedtime. In this neighbourhood, you will be surrounded by locals and many vacationers who "come home" for the summer months as well as those from around the world. Pizzo's most famous gelateria- Enrico's, is located only a block away. There is also an array of other fine dinning restaurants in the neighbourhood. We have been travelling to the region for years and are quite knowledgable of area. I would be glad to provide any sort of suggestions and answer all questions. Be sure to expect a bowl of fresh fruit grown from our grandmother's very own garden upon arrival!
