Some chance meetings really do change your life. ❤️

Today in Positano, we ran into Claudio, a taxi driver and a very dear friend of Mariangela’s.

Nearly 10 years ago, Aussie Mariangela jumped into Claudio’s taxi and asked him one simple question: “Where can I have an authentic Nonna’s meal?”

Claudio knew exactly where to send her, to a little farm-to-table restaurant run by Positano Mariangela and her mamma (who is a Nonna).

That introduction brought the two Mariangelas together… and the rest, as they say, is history.

Almost a decade later, here we are, dear friends, business partners and sharing our love of the Amalfi Coast with the world.

We’ll forever be grateful to Claudio for that one recommendation that changed everything. ❤️

Call it divine intervention, a gift from God, the universe, fate, whatever you believe in. ✨

We just know some people are meant to find each other. And somehow, Claudio made sure we did. 🇮🇹❤️

There are some traditions you just don’t mess with. 🇮🇹❤️

Every time I arrive on the Amalfi Coast, Mariangela and I have our first meal together at in Positano.

It started as something we did without really thinking about it, but somewhere along the way it became our thing. Our little tradition. And now we wouldn’t dream of starting a trip any other way.

Maybe it’s the Italian in us, but we’re both a little superstitious… and we’ve decided that our first lunch at La Pergola brings us good luck. 🍀

So here we are again, same place, same tradition, another Amalfi Coast adventure beginning.

Today I wanted to share a little piece of our everyday life here on the Amalfi Coast. 🇮🇹

This is my father’s cellar, tucked away in my parents’ home in Nocelle a hamlet of Positano , and when I walked in today it just looked so beautiful that I had to show you.

This is where we store so much of what we grow and make during the summer months to enjoy through winter, chilli peppers, olives, winter cherry tomatoes, passata, pelati, homemade limoncello and even honey.

There are also all the old tools my father used for making w**e, each with its own story and history.

It may look simple, but for me this little cellar represents family, tradition and a way of life that has been passed down through generations.

As a local, these are the moments and places I’m most proud to share. ❤️

One of the things we love most about a day on the boat along the Amalfi Coast? Not having to plan every little detail. 🇮🇹☀️

We usually don’t pre-book lunch for our guests, so they can enjoy the day at their own pace and decide with their captain where they feel like stopping.

In Conca dei Marini, two of our favourites offer completely different experiences.

🍋 La Tonnarella — relaxed, casual and full of local flavour, with that traditional trattoria feel we love.

✨ Borgo Santandrea — a beautiful five-star hotel for something more refined, with exceptional food, service and surroundings.

Two very different ways to enjoy lunch by the sea, and that’s the beauty of a private boat day. You can decide what feels right on the day.

Today we want to show you a little fishing village on the Amalfi Coast that you might often sail straight past — Conca dei Marini.

We love stopping here for lunch when we’re out on the boat, and it’s also a favourite stop for many of our guests during their boat days.

Follow the little street down towards the beach, take in the stairs, the old houses and the character of the village… and then look at that view. 🇮🇹✨

Such a beautiful little corner of the Amalfi Coast.

We’ve been working with Gary and Mary since January, curating a the trip of a lifetime on the Amalfi Coast, from their accommodation and private transfers to the experiences that will make their time here so special.

By the time many of our guests actually arrive, they already feel a little like friends. We’ve spent months talking, planning, refining and getting excited alongside them.

Gary and Mary are here celebrating their wedding anniversary, and tonight they invited us to dinner to celebrate with them. Moments like this are such a beautiful part of what we do.

We get so much joy from creating unforgettable memories for our clients, but one of the things we treasure most is the friendships we collect along the way.

Gary and Mary, you’ll always have friends in Positano. 🤍

A Minute with Mariangela 🇮🇹

Trust your host — they know their local area best.

If you’re booking your own accommodation on the Amalfi Coast, one of the best things you can do is listen to your host.

They know the property, the surrounding area and the little logistical details that aren’t always obvious when you’re booking online.

If they give you advice about access, stairs, arrival points, luggage, walking distances or the easiest way to get to and from the property, take it seriously, there’s usually a very good reason behind it.

The Amalfi Coast is beautiful, but the logistics can be very different from what travellers are used to.

So ask questions before you arrive, understand exactly where you’re staying and use your host’s local knowledge to help make your stay as smooth as possible. 🇮🇹

There’s another side to Positano… one that feels wonderfully local. 🇮🇹✨

Today we’re heading to Fornillo to drop off a welcome gift for some of our guests arriving in Positano.

Fornillo has always been special to me. I spent so much of my youth here with my family, and even today it’s where many locals still live, swim and spend their summer days.

Wander through the little streets, past the beautiful Santa Margherita Church, and follow the steps down to Fornillo Beach, Positano’s second-largest beach and one of our favourite places to escape the crowds.

The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is wonderful, and it gives you a glimpse of a quieter, more authentic side of Positano.
