Lake Orta has always been part of Mandali,not just as a view, but as a presence. Its energy runs through everything we do here.

Lean your back into something solid — a wall, tree, chair, or another person. Feel the support behind you. Let your spine rest. You do not need to hold yourself up.

Soften the belly. Let the breath arrive naturally.
Feel the contrast: back supported, front open.
Place one hand on your heart, one on your hara. Feel your heels.

Take one slow exhale:
Head. Heart. Hara. Heels.
Ask: What changes when I don’t brace — and don’t collapse?
Whisper: All of me belongs here.

Take three breaths. Strong back. Soft belly. Then move gently into life again.

We asked one of our Mandali teachers, Peter , to write a short meditation that anyone can do at home.
When we asked him to write it thinking about what the world needs most right now on his opinion, he had no doubt: to slow down.
Here it is — we hope it brings you some support on the days when you need to pause 🤍

Pause for a moment and step back.
Let the world continue doing its thing.

Place one hand on your heart and take one slow breath.

Feel the simple miracle of being here.
Your body breathing, heart beating.
Sensing the aliveness of this moment.

Even in the middle of a storm, there is a quiet place within you.
A sanctuary made of breath, presence, and gratitude.
Lean into that stillness.

Breathe in gently.
Receive this moment.

Breathe out softly.
and give thanks.

For the ground beneath you.
For the life moving through you.
For the hidden grace that is carrying you home.

Continue for three breaths.
Let appreciation become your anchor.
Let stillness become your shelter.
Let your heart remember the peace it was born from.
