From 24 to 27 September, a monitoring visit was carried out for our students undertaking vocational internships in Rimini as part of the “Learning through Practice” initiative, implemented within the project “International educational mobility of students and graduates and vocational education and training staff (VET-2)”, under the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 programme and co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus. The school principal, together with the accompanying staff, visited the students’ internship placements, met with employers and students, and checked how the young participants were managing their professional responsibilities and everyday life in Italy. During a meeting with representatives of Sistema Turismo, further cooperation as well as organisational and financial matters were discussed. There was also time for integration, including a shared dinner and trips to San Marino and Verona. These were four intensive days filled with meetings, conversations, observations and shared experiences. Practice, independence, responsibility and… a little bit of Italian dolce vita! 💙
