-3! Mancano solo 3 giorni all’inaugurazione di Manario VR Experience! Scopriamo qualcosa in più sulla location che ospiterà l’evento e le esperienze di turisti e visitatori: il Castello di Riomaggiore!
L’edificio, che svetta nella parte alta del centro storico di Riomaggiore, fu edificato dai marchesi Turcotti nel 1260 sui ruderi di una precedente struttura chiamata “Castellazzo”. Il castello, a forma quadrangolare con due tozze torri circolari, nacque con scopi difensivi per dive**re poi, in epoca napoleonica, un cimitero ospitante i defunti locali. È solo a fine 1900 che la struttura viene sottoposta ad un recupero generale per dive**re un centro culturale e sala convegni comunale. Un simbolo divenuto nel tempo punto di ritrovo ed oggi è la casa del nostro progetto!💪

The building, which stands out in the upper part of the historic center of Riomaggiore, was built by the Turcotti marquises in 1260 on the ruins of a previous structure called "Castellazzo". The castle, quadrangular in shape with two squat circular towers, was born with defensive purposes and then became, in the Napoleonic era, a cemetery hosting the local deceased. It was only at the end of the 1900s that the structure underwent a general renovation to become a cultural center and municipal conference hall. A symbol that has become a meeting point over time and, today, has become the home of our project!💪
