This is Narni, a small medieval town in Umbria, not far from Rome. Narni is the name that inspired C. S. Lewis for his book the Chronicles of Narnia. Very charming little town, perfect for a walk and a drink with friends on a sunday afternoon.

Drinks that are priceless...This is the typical Italian "aperitivo" a spritz, a glass of wine or cocktail that you take with something small to eat before dinner, so yummy! And of course when in Rome you pick amazing spots to do it with your friends because Rome is so beautiful.

This is a Via Cava, paths of Etruscan origin, deep and narrow trenches carved in the tuff of the hills. Their depth can reach, in certain places, about fifteen meters. There are twenty of them that link the sites of the Etruscan necropolises of Sorano, Sovana and Pitigliano. These roads are unique and characteristic of the Area del Tufo in Tuscany, 2 hours from Rome. So impressive to walk in it!

This is Trevignano, a little town by the Lake Bracciano, one hour from Rome. One of the typical things the Romans do is to go to the lake in summer to escape from the heat of Rome. I promise that the instagram filters are not good for these pictures at all, the colors of the mediterranean sea or the sunlight in Greece are perfect that way without filters. Aperitivo time! Being a tour guide in Rome is a dream come true. It can be physically hard some days but it is a privilege to love your work as I do, to meet people from all over the world that come to Rome to admire its beauty. I have been a guide in Rome for almost 7 years and I never get tired of its monuments.
