Starting from 11 February 2025, Palazzo Bonaparte in Rome will host "Munch. The inner cry", a vast retrospective dedicated to Edvard Munch, the famous Norwegian painter known for "The Scream". The exhibition, which will continue until 2 June 2025, will present 100 works from the Munch Museum in Oslo, including a lithographic version of "The Scream" (1895), "The Death of Marat" (1907), "Starry Night" (1922–1924), "Girls on the Bridge" (1927), "Melancholy" (1900–1901), and "Dance on the beach" (1904). Curated by Patricia G. Berman, one of Munch's leading experts, the exhibition offers an immersion in the artist's universe, exploring his human and creative path. Opening hours will be Monday to Thursday, 9am to 7.30pm, and Friday to Sunday, 9am to 9pm, with the ticket office closing one hour early. Tickets are already available for online purchase on Ticket.it, with prices ranging from €18.00 for full tickets to €17.00 for reduced tickets.
Advance booking is strongly recommended, as access to the exhibition will be limited to ensure optimal use of the works on display. For further information and reservations, you can contact +39 06 87 15 111 or visit the official Arthemisia website.
