:Food,Tiramisu

"Tiramisu"" is a pastry that means ""cheer me up."" Today I recreated a Roman holiday alone with a gelato from Pompi, an old tiramisu shop established in 1960. The tiramisu here is refreshing and not too heavy, so you can eat a lot!

Tiramisu is one of the most common desserts in Italian households. The way it is made differs from household to household, so you can enjoy a variety of flavors. The same can be said for tiramisu served in restaurants. There are bitter tiramisu, very sweet tiramisu, moist tiramisu, and dry tiramisu.
Pompi is also famous for its one-of-a-kind ""strawberry tiramisu. If you come to Italy, please try their authentic tiramisu."

:Italo,EVO

Cool looking Itaro EVO debuted in 2017 December.
This pendolino(an Italian family of tilting trains) is not an AGV(Automatic Guided Vehicle) nor TGV(french for high-speed train).
The Itaro EVO operates up to 250 km/h (which isn't as fast as older ones) but this Ferrari-red and exotic car-like face is just eye-catching.
This high-performance train is also surprisingly eco-friendly.
Compared to cars, the CO2 emission is about half between Milan and Torino, and about 1/4 between Rome and Milan.
You've got to ride it!?

:Salad

When travelling, we hear customers saying, "I want lots of salad!"
It is true that potatoes are the most commonly served vegetable as a side dish.
But that doesn't mean Italians don't eat salads.
The fact that there is a restaurant named Insalata Ricca (Rich Salad) proves this.
The restaurant's main menu is, of course, salads!!
A large bowl full of salad is served. A variety of salads are available, simple one, some with meat or seafood, etc. Please see some photos below.
There are several of these restaurants in Rome. They are more popular with ordinary Italians than tourists and are highly recommended.
If you miss salad in Rome, give it a try!!
