Von Buren Contemporary is a dynamic, Rome-based gallery which specializes in the scouting and promotion of young, emerging Italian artists. Gallery owner Michele von Büren finds her thrill in the hunt and the di

scovery of new artists on the rise with something fresh and original to offer. Her ability to catch-and-release talent is critical to the success of her gallery and she has a demonstrated record for selecting artists with good investment potential. A key gallery mission is to make contemporary art accessible and enjoyable. To this end, Von Buren Contemporary cultivates a warm approach and atmosphere, welcoming novice buyers with a limited budget, as well as more seasoned collectors with a keen eye for promising newcomers. British-born Michele von Büren graduated from Oxford University before coming to Italy, working first as a journalist before finding her niche in the art world.

Please enjoy this hypnotic photograph by Milan-based talent Donatella Izzo.
Izzo was born in the northern town of Busto Arsizio in 1979.
Photography is her favourite medium for creating a personal and intimate universe. Izzo does not use photoshop or artificial means to create her intense images. Instead she intervenes via collage, drawing, painting, abrasions and additions on her initial photograph and then reshoots the final result.
Izzo's works are to be found in numerous public and private collections and have appeared on the pages of all principal Italian newspapers and in numerous Italian and international magazines.

Olmo Gasperini, a young artist with remarkable talent, captivates and hypnotizes us with these works full of vision.
From an early age, he showed a natural gift for art, moving effortlessly between painting and sculpture, eventually finding his true calling in painting.
Fresh graduate from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, he has already exhibited in prominent galleries in Milan and Bologna.
His works reveal a rich inner world, suspended between imagination and intimacy.
