GOOD MORNING, VATICAN MUSEUMS.
A private tour of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel in Rome, before the public arrives.

At first light, you join the Clavigero, the Vatican’s Key Holder, for the daily ritual of opening the Museums. Nearly 300 historic keys, including the one to the Sistine Chapel. Doors unlocked one by one through the Pio-Clementine Museum, the Upper Galleries and the Raphael Rooms, lights switched on for the day.

Then the Sistine Chapel opens and its lights come on, almost entirely yours for a few quiet minutes. The morning ends with breakfast at the Bistrot in the Pinecone Courtyard.
