With my hearth full of fear I gathered all my courage and I finally managed to catch the plane that, flying so close to this senseless war, took me to a beautiful land: VIETNAM🇻🇳.
It's impossible to describe the beauty of the landscapes, the colors, the scents, the flavors, the sweetness and the humanity of the vietnamese people.
This unforgettable adventure left me strong emotions, indelible memories and a new view of the past historical events, although it seems that unfortunately history is repeating itself.☮️🕊

Here we are! Me and my Chicago friend, the genius BRICK ARTIST Rocco Rocco J. Buttliere smiling in front of his latest masterpiece : a 1:650 scale plastic BRICK-BUILT diorama which depicts the Ancient Rome at its 4th century heights!!!!

⏳️it took 4 YEARS and 📚many thousands of hours of independent research, design and building!

In addition to ancient Rome, he also built other global icons of world heritage such as the

Welcome to the BATHS of CARACALLA: a gigantic 1800 years old Spa🏊‍♂️🤼‍♂️🤾‍♂️💆🏽‍♀️🛁🧖🏽‍♀️!!!

🏛️This massive complex of buildings was built between AD 211 and 217 by emperor Septimius Severus and his son Caracalla.

👁️‍🗨️We can still see the spectacular ruins of gyms, pools and enormous heated rooms entirely decorated with marble and mosaics!!!

👨🏽‍⚕️According to Galeno (a greek doctor who lived in the second century AD) the ancient roman "Spa hydrotherapy cycle" was characterized by 4 essential moments:
1️⃣🏐🤼‍♂️Gym
2️⃣🛀🧖‍♀️Hot bath to purify the body in the "caldarium" (hot room) and saunas in the "laconica".
3️⃣ relax in the "tepidarium"(tepid room) and cold bath❄️ in the "frigidarium"(cold room).
4️⃣Swim in the "natatio" (large pool) followed by massages💆🏽‍♀️ and hair removal sessions✂️🌵😅

❗️Here some numbers to make you understand the grandeur of the Baths of Caracalla:
-24 hectars large(62 acres)
-15000 bathers every day
-252 columns
-50 underground furnaces that burned 20 tons of wood everday
