🌿Puntarelle alla Romana: a simple yet iconic dish that embodies the heart of Roman tradition!

Made with fresh chicory shoots (puntarelle), garlic, olive oil, and a touch of vinegar, this vegetarian classic is the perfect mix of crunch, bitterness, and bold flavor.

What are Puntarelle? Puntarelle are the tender shoots of Catalonian chicory, known for their crunchy texture and slightly bitter taste. They're a Roman favorite, especially during the colder months when these greens are at their peak. 🌱✨

How to Make Puntarelle alla Romana 🍴

🍝Amatriciana: a Roman classic you’ll love!

Few dishes represent Roman cuisine as perfectly as Amatriciana does. Originating from the town of Amatrice, this flavorful pasta combines simple, high-quality ingredients into a dish that's pure comfort on a plate.

The secret to its bold flavor? Guanciale (cured pork cheek), rich Pecorino Romano, and a luscious tomato sauce. Served over al dente pasta, usually bucatini, it’s a masterpiece of Italian culinary tradition.

Here's what you'll need for 4 people:
- 400g Bucatini pasta
- 150g Guanciale (cut into strips)
