Florence wine windows are iconic but there’s something nobody tells you before you go 👇
After 9pm they switch to plastic cups, city rules. So if you want that glass for the photo, order before 9. And if you do end up with plastic, never toast with it (Seriously) Italian rule: no cin cin with plastic cups. Knock knuckles instead 🤛🍷

You need to know the story behind Mama’s Koelkast in Amsterdam 💜

When Aaliyah found the last leftovers of her late mother’s cooking in her freezer, the memories were so powerful she wanted everyone to feel that same sense of home.

So she started a kitchen and invited 20 women from different cultures to cook the heritage recipes they grew up with their real “mama’s food.”
“Mama’s Koelkast” means “Mom’s Refrigerator”and it’s one of the most meaningful, comforting stops on our Amsterdam Jordaan Food Tour.

Churros get all the fame but locals in Madrid are ordering porras!

His machine broke mid-filming and he refused to serve it. No shortcuts at La Sorbettiera, period. So we started over with hazelnut and he dropped a tip you need to know: light color means quality, dark means they over-roasted to hide a bad batch. Check the color every single time 🌰

Ordering fresh pasta in Rome is a red flag 🚩

Roman sauces are heavy and fatty. Fresh pasta soaks all of that up and turns mushy. Dry pasta holds its structure and gives carbonara, cacio e pepe and amatriciana something to actually grip.

If you eat Seville oranges, you’ll regret it 🍊😵‍💫
Yes, the city is famous for them, but not for eating, they’re actually very bitter.
They’re used for marmalade instead, the kind made famous in Britain.
Fact: in Seville, locals don’t really eat this marmalade, they’d rather have bread with tomato and jamón ibérico 🐖
