The first monographic exhibition dedicated to the greatest sculptor of the classical age.
It is said of Phidias that he alone had seen the exact image of the gods and that he revealed it to man.

Exciting news!
🏛The Archaeological Park of the Celio and the Forma Urbis Museum in Rome have just opened their doors unveiling their treasures!

✏️The Forma Urbis Romae is an ancient marble map of the city dating back to the age of Septimius Severus.
We can see just some fragments, but it's enough to appreciate the greatness of this project.

🚶‍♀️ Walking across the glass floor with marble fragments of the city's original map was an emotional journey!

🔎It was more than just a walk; it was a profound experience of bridging the past and present!
