ns of the all neighborhood. The apartment is furnished with simple, but elegant oak wood furniture and wooden ceilings. There are all the modern amenities: air conditioning, safe, 2 LCD televisions, telephone , ADSL connection for internet, fully furnished bathroom ( soap, shampoo, towels) with Jacuzzi and shower, hair-dryer and a little but well equipped kitchen. Renovation of the antique brick archways, as well as the artistic hand painted frescos, give at the apartment an atmosphere of refined elegance. The apartment is an open-space on two levels. On the first level there is the kitchen a large bathroom with Jacuzzi, shower and hairdryer, and a comfortable living room. On the upper deck, there is a bedroom, with a French bed and another small room with a single bed. Even being an open space it maintain romantic and elegant atmosphere.

Domenica 30 Novembre 2014, ore 15, visita guidata al COLOMBARIO DI POMPONIO HYLAS (Parco degli Scipioni, via di Porta Latina 14. Durata della visita 60 minuti. Costo del biglietto 4 euro (gratuito over 65 anni e bambini); costo della visita guidata 7 euro (bambini gratis). Nel monumento possono accedere max. 8 persone alla volta.
Uno dei pochissimi esempi di colombario perfettamente conservato. Fu costruito nel periodo compreso tra il principato di Tiberio e quello di Claudio (14-54 d.C.) e venne utilizzato sino al II sec. d.C., accogliendo nel I sec. d.C. le ceneri del liberto Pomponio Hylas. Il colombario conserva tutte le decorazioni in stucco dipinto ed è costituito da un ambiente rettangolare con copertura a volta decorata. Si conservano le edicole funerarie in stucco con le urne contenenti le ceneri dei defunti. Nell’edicola centrale della parete di fondo sono dipinte due figure, probabilmente i fondatori del sepolcro i cui nomi sono indicati nella tabella marmorea sottostante: Granius Nestor e Vinileia Hedone. Si accennerà ai riti ed edifici funerari dei Romani.
