When I'm not studying the Sistine Chapel, I'm applying and interviewing for jobs locally in Northwest Indiana. I believe in a comeback to Vatican City touring. In the meantime, I have been diagnosed with bipolar 1 by St. Catherine Hospital of East Chicago as of this past week which I spent there. I have medication, abilify, for the purpose of speaking with less energy according to my Chinese doctor. It seems funny and bizarre, but I spent a week locked in the psyche ward of a hospital for this diagnosis. Life goes on.

Grateful for all the email what's app and other messages from so many places and people and for their prayers. This extended lockdown situation in Rome with still some weeks to go has turned into a really big personal and professional challenge. In non diplomatic language, its a nightmare. I can't do it without my family my friends, my prayer life and giving it everything I have. I wish everyone hope, courage in sufferings, healthy communication, and help as they need it. Big blessings can happen out of hardship and suffering even if we can't see them yet.

Diego has a sister married to an American in Indiana. He says he knows that pizza in America is different. He says high quality pizza is very difficult and takes many years to master. He says Italians with 10 years of experience who have opened pizzerias abroad have done well for themselves like in Taiwan. Diego likes that his work is creative and expressive. I told him I live nearby and I will be a regular.

Had great tours today in the Vatican Necropolis with visitors from the USA, Spain Belgium and Scotland. I also had a man who is a translator for Pope Francis. He was very pleased with my tour.
