Can you guess this location? I don't have all the details YET, but I'm too excited to keep this a secret. This location may be a destination for my upcoming First Hosted Group. We'll be going to the Mediterranean in the Spring of 2027.

Holding on to summer as long as possible.

Here’s the thing about beach clubs like these: knowing the name isn’t the hard part. Getting the reservation, the good loungers, the table with the view — that’s the part nobody tells you about. 🌊

I spend my time so my clients don’t have to — tracking down which Ibiza beach club actually takes walk-ins, which Amalfi spot needs a hotel connection to book, and which “hidden gem” is already sold out by May.

🇬🇷 Santorini Wine: Brutal Vines, Beautiful Wine

Let’s talk about Santorini wine, because honestly? It surprised me in the best way.

The vines here grow in a unique basket shape called kouloura — because the volcanic soil, strong winds, and intense sun make traditional vineyards impossible. These poor vines are punished by nature… and somehow create some of the most incredible wines in Greece.

Crisp. Mineral-rich. Bright. Unlike anything I’ve tasted.

We had a wine tasting overlooking the caldera, and it quickly became one of my favorite Santorini memories, sipping Assyrtiko with a sunset that didn’t look real.

If you love wine, Santorini is a must.

(And yes, I can absolutely plan a wine-focused Greece itinerary for you. 🍷😉)

🇬🇷 Dinner Under the Acropolis

In Athens, we had the privilege of sharing a meal with locals through EatWith, and it turned into one of our most unforgettable nights in Greece.

We met Dimitri and Savvas at their home, and when the other guests didn’t show, we found ourselves enjoying a private dinner with this wonderful couple, laughter echoing through their balcony, their beautiful pup curled sneaking pets from Steve and the Acropolis glowing in the background.

Savvas didn’t speak much English but was so eager to learn more about the U.S., while Dimitri, a lawyer who loves to cook, shared stories of Greek life, food, and hospitality. We talked, laughed, and stayed far too late over wine and dessert. Some wine may also have played a part...

It reminded me that the best travel memories aren’t always in the guidebook, sometimes they’re found in a shared meal, a kind smile, or a new friend.

Hot Take: Never Exchange Currency at the Airport

Those rates should honestly be considered a crime. A felony.

I want a task force.

Use your debit card at an ATM at A BANK, use a no-foreign-transaction-fee credit card, or download a currency app before you land.
