Campo de’ Fiori / Jewish Ghetto
Looking for a place in Rome where you can explore history and enjoy amazing food?
Campo de’ Fiori and the nearby Jewish Ghetto are great stops for a few hours — perfect for a transfer with a stopover or before heading to your hotel or the port.

In the morning, Campo is an open-air market (Monday to Saturday), full of local fruits, flowers, spices, and Roman chatter.
🍸 In the evening, it becomes a lively square with lots of bars and restaurants.
Just 5 minutes away, the Jewish Ghetto is quieter, more historic — and home to some of the city’s most famous traditional dishes.

Where to Eat
Nonna Betta – Kosher-style Roman food, very popular. Try the fried artichokes.

Roscioli – A mix between wine bar, restaurant, and gourmet deli. You need a reservation.

Osteria da Fortunata – Handmade pasta in front of you. Touristy, but good.

Rome Cab Transfer Tip
Ask for a 2-hour stop here on your transfer — we’ll wait for you while you enjoy a stroll, grab lunch, or take photos.
It’s also a great area for walking tours or a quick aperitivo before your evening plans.

Testaccio – Where Romans Really Eat
Testaccio is where locals go to eat, shop, and enjoy real Roman life.
It’s not far from the Aventine Hill and the Pyramid, and it’s perfect for a stop during your transfer from the airport, port, or hotel.
This is a great area for anyone interested in authentic food, less crowded streets, and a glimpse into the real Rome.

🧀 Testaccio is also the birthplace of Roman cuisine — many dishes were created here, near the old slaughterhouse (now a cultural hub).
🛒 It’s home to Mercato di Testaccio, a modern market with traditional stalls and trendy street food.

🍽️ Where to Eat
Felice a Testaccio – Classic Roman dishes, famous for their creamy cacio e pepe.

Trattoria Perilli – Old-school, family-run, one of the best amatriciana in Rome.

Trapizzino – Inventive street food: pizza dough pockets filled with Roman recipes, born here and now Nationally Spread !
Pecorino - A mix of tradition and innovative taste !
Where to Stay
Seven Suites – Clean and modern, great value for this area.

Hotel Re Testa – Just steps from the market, good option for short stays.

Althea Inn Roof Terrace – Charming B&B with great views and warm service.

Coffee in Rome: No Milk After Lunch!
In Rome, cappuccino is breakfast.
Order one after noon and the barista might smile… or raise an eyebrow.
Locals switch to espresso after 12:00 — quick, strong, no fuss.
If you want to blend in, go for a caffè (espresso), or macchiato if you still need a splash of milk.
Avoid ordering a “latte” unless you want a glass of plain milk!
A quick coffee break is part of the Roman rhythm — fast, noisy, delicious.
Try Tazza d’Oro or Sant’Eustachio near the Pantheon.
And don’t ask for it “to go”… sip it at the bar like a local.
🚗 We’ll take you there — from hotel to the best coffee in town.

The Heart of the City
Location: Central Rome, includes Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and Spanish Steps.
Metro Access: 'Spagna' (Line A), about 10–15 minutes walk.
Best accessed by private transfer or on foot.
stop here in the morning or evening to avoid crowds. Great for first-time visitors.

🍽️ Where to Eat
Armando al Pantheon – A Roman classic. Book early; it's tiny and always full.

Osteria del Pegno – Tucked behind Piazza Navona. Great wine, quiet setting.

Ginger Sapori e Salute – Light, modern, colorful meals (vegetarian and healthy options).

🏨 Where to Stay
Hotel Nazionale – Elegant, historic, and just steps from Parliament Square.

Eitch Borromini – Stunning views over Piazza Navona from a baroque palace.

Navona Gallery & Garden Suites – Small, charming B&B with lots of personality.

This area gets very busy, especially midday. If you're arriving from the cruise port or airport, we suggest a morning or early evening stop for fewer crowds and better photos.
