If you step inside the Florence Cathedral and look up...
..you’ll see The Last Judgment, a monumental fresco painted by Giorgio Vasari dating back to 1572 (and later completed after Vasari passed away by Federico Zuccari in 1579).
The Florence fresco depicts the Second Coming and the final judgement of souls similar to Michelangelo's Last Judgement in the Sistine Chapel 👨🎨
Covering over 3,600 square meters, it stands as one of the largest frescoes in the world 🌍—and one of the most dramatic scenes ever painted on a dome. ⛪✨

Did you know the shortest Conclave lasted only a few hours? ⛪
Generally the Conclave lasts a few days, but in rare cases it can be as as short as a few hours or as long as a few months (though that is even more rare). Keep an eye out for updates as the official Papal Conclave begins tomorrow, Wednesday May 7th.

We like to describe ourselves at the forefront of eco tourism meaning we work hard to support local businesses and promote off the beaten path activities that care for the environment and get you away from the crowds. We also know the right people and have special partnerships with museums and tourist attractions like the Vatican that allows us to give you exclusive access to areas the average traveler would never get to see. By never having more than 6 people in any group, we hope to create a more intimate touring experience so our visitors feel safe, relaxed and can get personalized interaction that’s like touring with a friend, yet better! Then, with the help of your expert top rated guide, you can merge in with people of the place you are visiting, allowing you to truly embody the culture of the place you’re exploring, after-all, isn’t this the point of travel?
We launched back in 2009 as LivItaly and in those days, we had tours in only one city; Rome. Our tours were so popular that we soon expanded to Pompeii, and then on to Venice and Florence. In 2017 we took the leap outside of Italy and proudly launched in Barcelona, Spain. We’ve since gone on to provide remarkably successful tour bases in Milan, and most recently Sicily, Paris and very soon, London. It’s been clear to us for some time that our original name didn’t exactly fit anymore. We had to admit to ourselves that our beloved brand name LivItaly needed to step aside for a name that more accurately represented our current business, as well as our grander visions for the future.
Enter LivTours.
But despite the growth, development, excitement, success and improvements, at the end of it all, we are still the same family owned company, with an obsession for making your travel experiences some of the very best you will ever experience. We hope you’ll join the LivTours family on your next trip to Europe because we’d love to show you around.
