It still amazes us that people will travel up to 8 hours round trip to Capri to see the blue grotto. Italy has lots of grottoes, and if you join one of our trips to Ponza or Sperlonga, you could end up having one all to yourself :-)

Today, we had the coolest family on our Sperlonga day trip. A bunch of adventurers - they decide to book our boat trip with Alessandro, who wanted to offer them a totally unique and exciting experience - so he let them in on a little secret and they got to see this amazing grotto!

"What an amazing experience. After days of walking in the hot and humid city, this was the perfect escape to a day of relaxation, beauty, and a different vacation experience. A friendly staff instantly had us feeling excited, informed on Italian culture and city sites for after our tour, and had everything taken care of for a great day. The bus ride, followed by a ferry to ponza, was quite long... But it was 100 percent worth it. As we stepped off the ferry we were instantly surrounded by the beautiful city, and the gorgeous water of ponza. Our local guide at ponza took us on an unforgettable cruise with some of the best swimming spots we've experience in our travel, and gave us the island history to go along with it. Lunch was great, the sites were mesmerizing, and the swimming was amazing. Make sure to ask to go to the grotto you can swim through. Kimberly requested this stop for us..... Great call. Overall this trip is 100% worth booking... We're so glad we did!!"
