Starting from today, 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼 can be discovered from a whole new perspective.
The new City Tour has officially launched, giving cruise passengers and visitors the opportunity to explore the authentic soul of Salerno through its seaside charm, panoramic views, historic landmarks and vibrant local atmosphere.
This new service was created through an important initiative promoted by the Municipality of Salerno, together with the Province of Salerno, the Port Authority, the Maritime Station and CMS – Sustainable Mobility Consortium, with the aim of making the city even more welcoming, accessible and visitor-friendly for travelers from all over the world.
The project is especially dedicated to cruise passengers who want to explore Salerno freely, even without purchasing shore excursions on board, offering them a simple, comfortable and accessible way to enjoy the city immediately after disembarking.
And the response from tourists has already exceeded expectations: this morning, the very first minibus sold out within minutes with passengers disembarking from the Norwegian Epic.
🚌 The City Tour operates with 8 daily departures from 08:40 AM to 05:15 PM, starting from the Maritime Station and stopping at:
📍 Piazza della Concordia
📍 Railway Station
📍 Verdi Theatre
📍 Arechi Castle
📍 Vietri sul Mare
before returning to the Maritime Station.
