The owners and staff at this home-from-home boutique hotel are so warm & fun, aiming to create something quite unusual in this gorgeous corner of Italy. A farm-to-table restaurant, multi-bedroom suites and private gardens make this a brilliant choice.

And unusually there is still some availaibility for late Summer bookers...

Lots of late Summer & October half-term holiday planning this week.

This resort works so well for families with keen golfers, of all levels. Two breathtaking, 18-hole links courses, a driving range and golf academy, plus tennis & padel for non-golfers.

This December/January adventure takes in the best of Sri Lanka experiencing some of my absolute favourite properties. It's a joy to plan ahead like this for the busy festive season as no compromises are made on accommodation choices, and flight prices are still reasonable.

Planning a Winter 2027 Raja Ampat charter for a family of four this week, and this boat is getting my vote. I much prefer deck-level cabins and this phinisi has two spacious ones with expansive picture windows and plenty of lounging space indoors & out.

With 4 spacious, ensuite bedrooms, plenty of practical iving space outside & in, this beachfront villa is a great option for two families or one that works well with extended family.

Breakfast & daily housekeeping is included and this particular property is very close to some brilliant lunch & dinner spots.

Often, a hotel room or suite just doesn't provide a practical & comfortable living space for a family. And in this case, a beachfront villa with breakfast served each morning & a discreet host on standby for any requests, makes a lot of sense.

This quiet island resort is so understated, and the abundance of tropical flowers & pristine rainforest emit an effortless sense of wellbeing. Ideal after a week of exploring the temples of Angkor and the buzzing capital of Phnom Penh.
