Don't miss the Slow Food Travel – Alpine Spring Festival!

This Sunday, on 7th June, from 11:00 onwards, St. Peter in Villnöss valley turns into a gentle gathering place for the Slow Food Travel – Alpine Spring Festival.

In the heart of the village, a carefully curated farmers’ market brings together regional PRODUCERS and seasonal SPECIALITIES, celebrating the honest flavours of traditional mountain farm cuisine. Music drifts through the square, setting a soft rhythm for a day shaped by simplicity and connection.

Inside the parish hall, the familiar game of "Watten" invites people to sit together, share time and enjoy the quiet joy of togetherness. Around the village, curious moments unfold — from carving Maienpfeifen out of bark to discovering St. Peter from above during guided church tower tours.

A day where tradition, taste and community meet in a calm summer atmosphere.

Sometimes, slowing down is all it takes to see more. On the Nature Essence Hike, the focus shifts to what is often overlooked: scents, sounds, and small details. An experience where it’s not the distance that matters, but the mindful perception of nature.

Being outdoors here means more than movement. It is the conscious perception of light, air, animals and landscape – and a mindful respect for the grazing animals that share this space. Every step becomes calmer, every moment clearer. Nature sets the rhythm – and you begin to follow it. No rush, no goal, just walking, with care for the grazing animals along the way.
