Oggi si parla di tante tipologie di turismo verde, dall'enoturismo al turismo rurale, dal turismo escursionistico a quello sostenibile, ma per parlare di qualità turistica noi parleremo di turismo EcoGastronomico. Un binomio vincente che mette in risalto le qualità organolettiche dei nostri prodotti d'eccellenza e la qualità della nostra natura con un ritorno al passato, alla scoperta e riscoperta di antiche culture e tradizioni. A Salina dunque ci poniamo obiettivi molteplici: promozione delle eccellenze gastronomiche, l'educazione alimentare soprattutto per i giovani, la promozione di tutti quei valori culturali e tradizionali tramandandoli di generazione in generazione, lo svolgimento e la diffusione di attività ricreative e di ospitalità, escursionistiche e conoscitive che servano alla conoscenza e valorizzazione dei beni culturali ed ambientali. La visita a una produzione enogastronomica non deve quindi ridursi a un semplice momento di conoscenza della tipicità dello specifico prodotto, ma di trasformarla in una vera e propria esperienza di vita da raccontare e da ricordare!
