There's a new wine bar/café in town...and very good too! Café/Wine bar Castiòn.
After a morning in the garden, time to entertain the husband. "Shall we go and do a bottle drop ( always satisfying), then go and check out the new wine bar/ wine shop up in the village?" Instant smile and agreement 😂.
So we met Paola and Marinella, new proprietors since the end of May, great ( strong!) Aperol spritz with lovely nibbles.
It's virtually always open, full of locals and a few passers-by, and would be great for a place to go with young kids, as there is no traffic, they can run around, and there's a playground with stuff on the other side of the square. They have ice lollies too.
Attached is a wine shop/enoteca with wines from local producers - i think you can taste it there too.
And good value, €10 for 2 aperol spritz plus high quality nibbles. Thank you Paola and Marinella, we will be back!
