Saturday night at Enrico Russino Gli Aromi herb farm. Enrico is the ultimate story teller. Such a wonderful experience for our guests which includes a wine tasting with our favourite sommelier Giovanni Carbone. We are back here again next Sunday with our tour.

Had dinner at RISTORANTE FICHERA couple of nights ago. I’m usually full after all the antipasti however their pastas are excellent. The calamarata they do is just divine and the casarecce was with spigola, zucchini & pangrattato which was also delicious. Ristorante Fichera is a family run business, Gianni is the host. Pop in and try this place if you are in the Ragusa area.

The thing I enjoy most when I’m in Sicily is a delicious pescatore especially in places like Scoglitti, my home town which is the perfect place to buy fresh seafood. Scoglitti is a small fishing village located on the south coast of the island with white sandy beaches. This was a Pescatore with mezze maniche pasta. Translates to half a sleeve 😁
