Passignano sul Trasimeno is about 20 minute drive from Passo del Lupo. Passignano sul Trasimeno has over the centuries been transformed from a military outpost into a strategic commercial intermediary between Umbria and Tuscany to become a lively fortified village among the most beautiful to visit on the shores of Lake Trasimeno. Palio of the Boats recall the last act of hostilities between Baglioni and Oddi families: in 1495 there was a bloody battle in Passignano, in wich a small army of the Oddi family had to runaway, loading boats on the shoulders from the castle to the Trasimeno lake, after Baglioni and Della Corgna attack.
