If you enjoy trekking Giada's House is perfect for you. Near by there is Mount Petrella (1,533 meters above sea level) that is the highest peak of the Aurunci Mountains group.
It is a splendid balcony across southern Lazio, offering the opportunity to look out over the coast from Campania (up to Mount Vesuvius and Monte Faito) to the borders of the Abruzzo National Park.You reach the summit by climbing the ridge with an ever more spectacular path. From the Sella della Valle you reach the summit in 1h and 40m.
From the summit the panorama is really great, especially on a clear day of tramontana. Due to the characteristic pyramidal shape of the summit - with slopes facing north and south, east and west - Petrella determines very particular climatic conditions that allow species with different ecological requirements to coexist in a very narrow area.
