Venerdì 6 giugno 2026 Stintino ospita un appuntamento dedicato alla memoria storica dei deportati etiopi sull’isola dell’Asinara.

Una giornata di commemorazione e approfondimento per riportare alla luce storie, testimonianze e legami che appartengono alla memoria collettiva del territorio.

Un’occasione per conoscere, ricordare e restituire voce a una pagina importante della storia legata all’Asinara.

On Friday, 6 June 2026, Stintino will host an event dedicated to the historical memory of the Ethiopian deportees on the island of Asinara.

A day of commemoration and reflection, bringing back stories, testimonies and connections that belong to the shared memory of the territory.

Alle ore 11 si terrà, al monumento ai caduti, una celebrazione per la festa della Repubblica.

🇮🇹 Qualche scatto dall’evento di ieri sera al Piazzale Porto Vecchio.

Una serata di comunità, tradizioni, sapori del territorio e identità sarda, tra gruppi folk, maschere, musica e momenti di incontro.

Stintino si racconta anche così: attraverso le persone, le associazioni, i volontari e tutti quei gesti che rendono vivo il territorio.

Grazie a chi ha partecipato e a chi ha contribuito alla riuscita della serata.

🇮🇹La Statua della Pace di Stintino entra in una pubblicazione internazionale di Cambridge University Press, all’interno dell’Asia-Pacific Journal: Japan Focus.

Lo studio, dal titolo A Statue by the Sea: Memory, Resistance, and Universal Women’s Rights in Stintino, Sardinia, approfondisce il valore culturale e simbolico della prima Statua della Pace installata in Italia: un luogo di memoria, dialogo e consapevolezza dedicato ai diritti delle donne e al rifiuto della violenza di genere.

Un riconoscimento che rafforza il ruolo di Stintino come territorio capace di custodire paesaggio, identità e memoria civile.
