This amazing tree is native to the mountainous areas of southern China.

A very cold winter morning on lake Orta.
Not too many people around, for a while just me and the lovely American family that chose a private walking tour with me! Quite special to be the first ones as well as the only ones on the island of San Giulio. We had the whole small island and its beautiful medieval church just for us!
