The 30th edition of the Giostra Cavalleresca di Sulmona was won by the Sestiere di Porta Filiamabili with their knight Stefano Venturelli. However, The Poets' Retreat is located in the Bonomini Sestiere so we like to cheer them on each year! 💛💚❤️

La 30ª edizione della Giostra Cavalleresca di Sulmona è stata vinta dal Sestiere di Porta Filiamabili con il suo cavaliere Stefano Venturelli. Tuttavia, il Rifugio dei Poeti si trova nel Sestiere Bonomini, quindi ci piace fare il tifo per loro ogni anno! 💛💚❤️

"We stayed for three nights at The Poet's Retreat for the first three nights of our stay in Italy. It was the nicest place we stayed on our 16 day adventure through Italy. It is a spacious three bedroom and two bath apartment with a full kitchen. It is wonderfully furnished with furnishings that have a personal meaning and history to Andrew and Katja. They created this fantastic gem in Sulmona. It is within walking distance to markets, stores and wonderful sightseeing opportunities during your stay in Sulmona where you can experience Italian culture and life to its fullest. You can easily take a family there comfortably with the three bedrooms with room to spread out and enjoy the beautiful views, surroundings, and teaching younger generations on how life in Italy is wonderful to experience in Abruzzo!"

Il conto alla rovescia per la Giostra Cavalleresca di Sulmona è INIZIATO! Preparatevi a spettacolari costumi rinascimentali, incredibili esibizioni equestri e indimenticabili notti estive in Abruzzo.

A causa di una cancellazione, abbiamo disponibilità per il weekend della giostra principale, il 25/26 luglio.

Preparatevi a una grande festa ogni sera dopo le giostre, con un fantastico DJ set nella piazza proprio di fronte all'appartamento. Il rumore cessa all'1:00 ogni notte.

The views are unmatched, the atmosphere is pure magic, and the food? Absolutely incredible. 🍷👌
