Yesterday a ladybug landed on me driving down from Mount Etna with my group

In many countries a ladybug holds different meanings.

For some It Is a symbol of good luck, for others represents fertility. Sometimes a ladybug Is related to love..
For sure a positive sign for a positive change and renewal.

On Mount Etna ,North of Randazzo,there Is a lava tube called the ladybug cave for the presence of millions of such colourful and lovely insects

What did that ladybug landing on me Yesterday ?

It reminded me that I was lucky to be at the end of a successful week tour with enthusuastic people

I still love my job

Olive harvesting in Sicily has started.
How 2026 sesason Will be in quantity & quality ?

Do you know olive trees need to rest and breathe after a very intense and productive year ?
Like humans 🙂

Notwithstandig the extreme hot temperature in Summer and the fruit's early maturation we expect the fresh extra virgin olive oil rich in healthy polyphenols.

So more quantity Is not necessarily sinonimous of high quality

There Is something about September that feels like a fresh start.
Summer holidays are winding down and weather Is cooler ( not in Sicily,not yet 😔)
After a short break to rest and relax  ,It Is time to go back to work.
it's also time  to get organized and look a head

In my childhood I loved September. I loved the idea to come back to school ,to my daily routine and new things coming .
I was excited at the idea to choose my new school diary, which I started to personalize with drawings,pictures, writing songs and notes.
These latest years I like to buy the new year agenda  in September. It Is my new year start and the child inside me still loves to customize its pages in the same way👩🏼‍🎨
