Trattorias!!
It comes from “trattare”, which means “to take into consideration, prepare, serve”, and from the French “traiteur” (which means “food supplier”). Originally, trattorias were popular places where simple meals were served, generally local cuisine.
Fortunately, there are still some small restaurants, called “trattoria” where you can dine simply and relaxed, typical regional dishes, remembering the good old days...
Orecchiette with vegetables, fried Brie with blueberries, veal with tuna sauce, mixed salad. House wine Dolcetto 🍷 and coffee.
And lunch is served!
