Just 31 square meters, but an immense history.
Under the porticoes of Piazza Castello in Turin sits Caffè Mulassano, the Art Nouveau café where the tramezzino was born in 1926 (and christened by none other than Gabriele D’Annunzio!).
And this icon of Italian-style street food is celebrating a major milestone: 100 years since its creation.
