There are places in Turin that don’t need a sign to tell a story.
An old factory.
A courtyard.
A wrought-iron balcony.
A neighbourhood that grew when Turin was changing its face.
These are exactly the places I love to tell stories about.
I’m Daniela, a licensed tour guide, and since 2017 I’ve been taking people to discover a lesser-known side of Turin.
On my tours, we explore the city’s neighbourhoods, tracing the marks left by its industrial and social history, discovering surprising architecture, and getting to know the creativity and vitality that continue to shape them today.
This isn’t the Turin you’ll find on the usual itineraries.
It’s a Turin to observe more slowly, listen to, and understand.
A Turin you may have thought you already knew.
