This April, Be Free brought their summer campaign to life at Poggio Belvedere — and for five nights, the estate became entirely theirs.

They shot across every corner of the property — from sun-soaked terraces and gravel drives to olive groves, garden paths, and golden interiors. Each scene shaped by the natural rhythm and light of this place.

Behind the scenes, we handled everything.
Vero in Italy coordinated the full production: crew meals, off-site accommodation for overflow, vintage Vespas, shoot-day logistics, curated settings, and private chef dinners. Every moment supported, every detail thought through.

Be Free had shot coastal Italy before. But this time, they were looking for something more cinematic, more textured — more timeless.

This spring, we welcomed back to Poggio Belvedere for their second weeklong experience in the Umbrian (and Tuscan) countryside.

What they usually offer as one-night pop-ups across the U.S. turned into something deeper here—seven days of slowness, beauty, and connection.

Each moment was curated with care:

• Truffle hunting and cooking over fire

We didn’t set out with a lifelong dream of owning a property in Italy. But after losing Kaila’s mom far too soon, something shifted — and we felt a quiet pull to create a life with more meaning, more beauty, and more intention.

With backgrounds in wine, luxury design, and hospitality — and years spent living in Sydney — we eventually found ourselves in Umbria. The house, the land, the feeling… it all came together in a way that just felt right.
