Last Sunday was one for the books! 🐾🚣‍♀️ We headed down to for an easy, fun rafting session—and this time we had a very special guest on board: Best, our coliver’s adventurous Jack Russell Terrier! 🐶💦

Best was the star of the show, wagging his tail the whole way and trying to dive into the cool waters every chance he got. 😂 Huge thanks to our guide Vittoria and the amazing crew at Rafting Nomad for making this joyful ride happen safely and smoothly. 💙

From panoramic mountain views across Central Italy to the peaceful forests around Poggiodomo (shoutout to for the warm welcome 🙌), it was the perfect breath of fresh air.

We ended the evening in Rocchetta at their mouthwatering wine & food festival 🍷🍝—truffle lovers, this one was for you!

Last Friday, we traded keyboards for paddles and hit the Nera River for an epic canoeing adventure! 🚣☀️ With the sun shining over Valnerina and the water just cool enough to refresh us, it was the perfect way to embrace summer.

Riccardo, our co-founder, joined fellow colivers for this splash-filled outing with our amazing guides Michele and Nico from , who showed us the ropes and made sure everyone had a blast.

What a splash! 💦 Last Thursday we grabbed our paddles and joined our neighbor RaftingNomad Umbria-Marche for a refreshing river adventure right below our village! 🏞️

Led by the amazing Michele, we floated down the crystal-clear Nera River, surrounded by lush green canopies and flitting blue dragonflies 🐉🌿. We even jumped off rocks (voluntarily 😉) and wrapped up the day with a visit to the stunning Abbey of Castel San Felice — a hidden Gothic gem with deep history and peaceful vibes 🙏🏰.

🏇✨ Relive the Magic of the Giostra della Quintana, a Spectacular Medieval Festival Just One Hour from Dolce Vita Coliving! ✨🏰

This past June, the historic town of Foligno (PG) once again transformed into a breathtaking medieval wonderland. On June 13–14, 2025, crowds gathered for La Sfida, the heart-pounding jousting tournament where armored knights on horseback thundered through the square, their lances aimed at the elusive suspended ring, all in a dazzling display of skill, honor, and tradition.

🎭 The festival was a feast for the senses:
🥁 Costumed parades filled the cobblestone streets with color and music
🍷 Noble banquets and historical reenactments transported us back in time
🎶 The air buzzed with live folk music, while artisans’ markets showcased handmade treasures
🧀 And of course, we indulged in Umbrian delights like creamy ricotta di capra and robust local wines

It wasn’t just an event—it was a full immersion into Umbria’s living history, where the past felt vibrantly alive. For our Dolce Vita Coliving community, it was the perfect escape: digital nomads swapped laptops for medieval marvels, finding inspiration in the clash of lances and the echoes of ancient cheers.

Last Friday, we hit pause on the laptops and fired up the grill! 🔥🍖

Our Weekend BBQ in the village BBQ area was pure *la dolce vita* — meditation under the trees (grazie Bianca! 🌿), fresh local veggies and Valnerina meats grilled to perfection by Christian 👨‍🍳, chill tunes, and the soothing sound of the old spring fountain nearby.

It was the perfect blend of relaxation, connection, and countryside vibes… just how we like Fridays in our little corner of Umbria 🏞️💚
