With In Minor Keys, the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia brings Koyo Kouoh’s curatorial vision to the Giardini, the Arsenale, and other venues across the city. It is an invitation to listen to the artworks, the artists, the spaces, and the many voices moving through Venice during one of the most important events in international contemporary art.

It is a deeply personal project, born from the desire to create travel experiences that go beyond the surface and enrich each journey through history, culture, and meaningful encounters.

With Rainbow Threads, I want to share not only the artistic and historical heritage of cities such as Venice, Florence, Livorno, Milan, Lecce, and Bari, but also their multicultural soul: places shaped by centuries of exchange, coexistence, and diverse communities.
To me, the rainbow is a symbol of energy, hope, rebirth, and joy. Its threads become geographical routes, but also physical, mental, and emotional maps that guide us as we explore the world.

From 07.03.26 to 08.06.26, Ca’ Rezzonico will host The Guardi paintings from the Calouste Gulbenkian collection: an exhibition that leads you into 18th-century Venice through light, atmosphere and views that still speak today.
