🌼 On a whim while I was planning Italy, I decided to bike 300km from Dolomites to Venice with my friend . Here are 10 reasons why you have to do it:
1. The Dolomite views: you see Tre Cime on your bike
2. Epic mountain descents: going opposite route means less climbing except for 75km on the 2nd day
3. Quiet roads and hidden villages: I tasted the best pizzas and pastas in small towns than Venice
4. Cycling through centuries of history: the old railway route
5. Italian coffee stops: cappucino almost every other day and orange juices
6. Incredible local food and cherry farms
7. Landscapes that change every day: from mountains to arriving at the town where Tiramisu was invited
8. Meeting people on the road: I met people in their 60s cycling from Scotland or Munich to here. It inspired me to not think if age or fitness is a factor when doing trips like this!
9. The sense of adventure around every corner: sometimes smooth roads or gravel roads
10. Rolling into Venice after a crazy adventure with tanlines!
