Welcome to The Yacht House! One of the most singular properties we’ve ever had the pleasure of welcoming to our portfolio.
Just off Campo Santa Marina (you’re at the Rialto Bridge in a few minutes and St. Mark’s Square in around 10) The Yacht House sleeps 6 guests in spectacularly accommodation.

"We were a group of 8 and somehow all managed to leave still liking each other—largely thanks to this amazing apartment! The place is huge (rare in Venice!), so we could all spread out without playing bumper cars every time someone needed a snack. The design was a fabulous mix of eclectic charm and “Pinterest goals,” with enough quirky flair to keep things interesting without feeling like we were living in an art installation.
The kitchen was impressively stocked—seriously, if you ever wanted to make a soufflé while on vacation (we didn’t, but we could have), this is your spot. We loved the location too: quietly tucked away just enough to feel local and peaceful, but still only a few minutes’ walk to public transport. And let’s not forget the grocery store nearby, which saved us from daily gelato-only meals (not that we would’ve minded).
All in all, this place was a total win—comfort, character, and just the right amount of space to not strangle your travel companions."

"The apartment is very appropriately described. It is a destination in its own right. It is so delightful to just put on some jazz or classical music, cosy up on the couch or window seat with one of the engaging books and feel at home in Venice. Plenty of exploring to be done in Cannaregio without the crowds on a mission to St. Marks."

"Charming location! Fun to watch Campo San Barnaba come to life every morning. We felt the apartment was central enough to take advantage of everything Venice has to offer without being in the middle of the tourist crush. Neighborhood highlights included a very enjoyable meal at Osteria Enoteca ai Artisti thanks to the welcoming young staff and stellar pastries at Dal Nono Colussi, and there were plenty of lively bars in the area for aperitivi. Views on Venice was founded in the late 1990’s when the concept of short term apartment rentals was in its infancy and rarely considered an option by most visitors to the city.
As a ‘thirty-something’ Venetian excited by the new business and communication opportunities offered by the internet, I decided to link up with a close childhood friend in creating a partnership which, at the time, was a novelty in Venice.
The idea we had in mind was to approach the traditional management of my family’s apartments from an entirely different angle, while at the same time resisting the attentions of those wanting to transform my family's palazzo into a prestigious hotel.
Our aim was to offer these apartments, as well as those of friends, for rental to an international clientele who’d take pleasure in the comfort, freedom and authenticity of ‘living at home as a Venetian’ rather than merely observing the city from the confines of an anonymous hotel room or suite.
The common denominator then, as now, was to offer ‘something extra’ amidst an already extraordinary city - an added dimension which turns a ‘stay’ into an ‘experience’ and a 'dream' into 'reality'. Memorable apartments suiting a variety of budgets and ranging from bijou studios to delicious Grand Canal palazzi. Apartments we wouldn't hesitate in recommending to our closest friends, all the finest of their kind and each providing a unique and lingering insight into Venice at its best.
