Day tour to the Prosecco area today, Valdobbiadene to be precise and a little visit to the "Ostera senz'oste", tavern without an innkeeper in English...

As said, this was originally a tavern without an innkeeper. You would go inside, eat whatever you wanted, cheeses, cured meats, bread, wine and then leave a voluntary donation.

Now, for the past 4-5 years, they've added a cash register for payment because our government took the control on this as well... of course...

But it's still a particular place, nothing fancy, to eat something without going to the restaurant or trattoria

All food comes from local farms, so genuine and not expensive

Three days ago the end of the tour... Bologna with the two famous leaning towers of the Garisenda and Asinelli, almost all that remains of the more than 300 that were there in the 15th century, were built by the wealthy Bolognese families to demonstrate their wealth, therefore, it was a challenge as to which family was able to build the tallest...

Then lunch at acetaia in Modena… great lunch…
