This month, I celebrate the incredible strength, resilience, love, and authenticity of the LGBTQIA+ community.

As a travel advisor, I believe everyone deserves to experience the world feeling safe, welcomed, respected, and free to be exactly who they are. Pride Month is a reminder that while we’ve made progress, there is still work to do—and I am committed to being part of that work as a proud ally.

Allyship isn’t just a rainbow logo in June. It’s listening, learning, advocating, and creating spaces where everyone feels seen and valued. It’s standing beside friends, family, clients, and community members not only during Pride Month, but every day of the year.

I just checked in with my clients who are currently in Italy. Hearing how much they loved touring the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill this morning absolutely made my day 🇮🇹

One day, your kids won’t ask you to ride Dumbo 7 times in a row. One day, your parents won’t be here to take another vacation with. One day, you’re going to wake up and realize that you had so much more time than you thought you had and you didn’t use it wisely.

Take the damn trip. I say this not because I’m your travel agent. I say this because I know what it feels like to watch your kid run off with her friend and ride the wild rollercoasters without you. I know what it feels like to lose a grandparent suddenly, right before a major life moment. I know what it feels like to be middle aged and worry about how much time I have left with the people I love the most.

Take the damn trip. Be with your loved ones. Never, ever miss out on a moment to make memories. You will never look back and say you wish you spent less money on vacations. 🫶🏻
