What else I’d tell you about these👇

Save this for your trip to the Dolomites!🏔️🇮🇹

First, I’d tell you that I have not done every hike in the Dolomites, and that there are endless options!

I have done these ones only, so of course they are the ones I’d tell you to do!

👉Ask again after I visit this summer, and I’ll have more options!

I’d then tell you to do some research and go beyond these popular ones, because there are some gems!👏

📍Cadini di Misurina is a short , but highly rewarding hike that is a must do!

🥾Do it on the same day as Tre Cime, and make sure you pre-book parking!

👉You can hike to Lago di Sorapis via Forcella Marcoira- combining the two into an epic hike and avoiding the crowds to Sorapis!

☀️In fact, to avoid all crowds- going early (or late!) is hugely important as well!

🚠You can take cable cars to Seceda and Alpe di Siusi , but don’t forget to plan your hikes there because there are tons of trails beyond the main viewpoints!

Or, plan to hike to both of those to save money on expensive cable cars!

Don’t miss these spots in the Dolomites👇

Save this for your trip to Italy!🇮🇹

🚠There are TONS of cable cars in the Dolomites. Here are our three favorites!

📍Seceda

😍The iconic ridgeline, located just a cable car ride away from the town of Ortisei!

🥾Of course you can also hike up to Seceda, and there are trails up there too!

📍Alpe di Siusi

The highest alpine meadow in Europe! Beautiful pastures with iconic Dolomite mountains in the background!

This one also leaves from Ortisei 😄

🥾Just like Seceda, there are other ways up here, and plenty of hiking trails up here!

📍Tofana di Mezzo

My personal favorite! Leaves from Cortina d’Ampezzo.

🏔️Tofana di Mezzo is the 3rd highest peak in the Dolomites and offers panoramic views of all the Dolomites.

This one was far less crowded than every other place we visited in the Dolomites!😄

💶All of these are quite expensive- so definitely consider hiking to some of these destinations as well if you are on a budget!

Have you been to any of these places?👇

Info for your Japan trip👇

Save this for your trip planning!🇯🇵
And send to your travel buddy!💌

🇯🇵This itinerary does not cover all of what Japan has to offer- but it is a great itinerary for your first trip to Japan if you want to see some of the major sites!

🤩And everyone should truly visit all of these places once in their lives!

✨Make sure you plan out everything you want to do and research ahead- many things in Japan must be booked in advance, and everything can be booked at different time periods in advance.

🛏️I highly suggest a traditional ryokan stay- it will make your Japan experience 100x better!

🚊Getting around in Japan is not hard! Just get a local commuter card (like the SUICA card- you can get it on your wallet!) and use Apple Maps!

🗣️It is nice to know a little Japanese- it makes finding a good place to eat, reading menus, and communicating far easier! At minimum- know some basic phrases!

🗻I always suggest visiting Kawaguchiko not as a day trip- many people get unlucky and don’t get to see Mt. Fuji because of cloud coverage, especially in summer!

Stay for 2 nights if you really want to experience the charm of the area😍

🚲Renting bikes around Lake Kawaguchiko is such a beautiful experience!

🌆Four days in Tokyo was perfect for us, but have a plan for what you wish to do there!

📅In my opinion, four days in Kyoto is MINIMUM! There is just so much to do and see here. Don’t skimp like we did with 3!

You can day trip to Nara and Kobe from either Osaka or Kyoto. We chose to day trip from Osaka because it was cheaper to stay there!

🥩Kobe is so underrated- the ropeway is gorgeous, Meriken Park is lovely, and Chinatown has the best streetfood we had in Japan!

Bring an extra suitcase if you are overconsumers like we are 😂 We had to buy a new one in Kyoto 😭

💴Get cash from ATMs! Cash is very commonly used in Japan still, and there are still places, especially street food vendors, that will only accept cash.
