Regarding the post I wrote yesterday about a new project I'm working on, my co-creator wrote this post to share with his contacts. We are tentatively planning for late-September of 2021 if Covid-19 world travel restrictions are over by then or later if necessary.
Jim Dailing is a skilled jeweler and jewelry instructor with many years of experience working for some of the top names in the American jewelry industry. As it turns out, he and I have had this similar idea for a teaching workshop in a dream destination venue for a long time. Now that we've connected we are excited to bring this project idea to life.

Ciao! It’s been a while since I posted anything here. Covid-19 has caused my tour activities to stay in hibernation this year while I put my focus on other interests. A new contact for my other creative business has revived my original desires for Inspiration Trips - creating tours and workshops as destination travel for creatives. We are planning a possible masterclass jewelry workshop on the Amalfi Coast for 2021. 💍
Would you be interested if all the travel restrictions are over by then?

I realized it’s been since last summer that I’ve posted anything. The Covid-19 quarantines have really hurt tourism and my usual summer activities. I’ve been spending more time being creative in my studio or working on projects at home. I’m really enjoying it.
I’ve started again and thought that since many of you are missing traveling to and the this summer that I would share some of my photos with you.
You might be wondering if we still have quarantine restrictions and the answer is yes. It’s much more relaxed now and it varies a bit by region how strict the rules are. In we have to wear our inside any shop or business we visit and people aren’t allowed to have big assemblies. There are some community events happening such as the summer concert series that are usually free to the public but is now controlled with reserved seating which is spaced far apart. Attending the free beaches (vs. the paid lido services) require a small fee to enter that varies by the community and the numbers are restricted. As a local I don’t need to pay to visit my free beach and I’m only entering for the access to the water so I can snorkel in the morning. By the time I’m done (before noon) the beach is already full in . In these photos you can see some small private beaches along the coast, some you can only reach by swimming or by boat. There are also many small sea caves. The lidos at (under the castle) and still had plenty of spaces available and looked like nicer beaches to visit away from the crowds.
Since I’ve been snorkeling again I’m always on the lookout for sunken treasures. I’ve been quite lucky so far and have found useful sports equipment twice. The visibility wasn’t so great today so I didn’t find anything until I returned to my beach bag on the rocks with my towel and shoes. My was waiting for me though, 1€ laying right by my stuff when I returned to the beach.

Good information to remember if your are planning EU travel starting from 2021, not only for USA citizens.

An ETIAS travel authorization will be required for Americans to visit European countries such as Germany, France, and Italy starting in 2021.

As soon as possible I want to check out this new adventure activity on the Amalfi Coast. Once I “test drive” it I’m sure I’ll think of an excursion itinerary for visitors to book with me.
