If you haven’t been you must run to the Plant City Bakery | Panadería! My daughter is taking a class at the local college and a classmate brought in a box of goodies. She came home telling me all about it. She was like mom we have to go! So we did, everything we got was absolutely amazing so delicious! She has been back for a second time and bought another round of goodies and brought them home again. I definitely need to go back and get some treats. They are different and so good now that the temperature is cooling down in Florida, you can actually sit outside and have a coffee or a Boba and a treat so treat yourself go for a visit. I promise you will go back.

They know it’s going be a magical experience because they’re going on Disney cruise. I put a lot of love into everyone’s vacation. Have a magical day everyone!

I HIT MY GOAL! 51.2 pounds down, and I’m officially at 149.8!

My journey began December 9, 2025, when I started ADHD medication and, for me, the constant food noise in my head finally quieted. I didn’t realize how much space it had been taking up until it wasn’t there anymore.

I’ve been on a GLP-1 since 2020 because of issues with my A1C, even though my fasting sugars weren’t the concern. My body likes to keep things interesting! But treating my ADHD helped me in a way I never knew I needed.

Now, a little over 10 months later, here I am. I’ve been eating about 90% organic, fitting in exercise, and haven’t had alcohol in a year and three months. I’m proud of the changes I’ve made and grateful for the treatment that helped me make them.

People sometimes say, “You just need willpower,” or “Be more disciplined.” My experience has been so much more complicated than that. The struggle was real, even when nobody else could see it.

If you’ve struggled with that same food noise or felt judged by someone who didn’t understand, I’m with you. You deserve support and kindness wherever you are in your journey.

Today, I’m celebrating reaching my goal and finally understanding myself a little better.

My honest review of the NCL Aqua!

My honest Norwegian Aqua review after a quick two night getaway from Miami? Breathtaking, stunning, and a ship I would absolutely recommend! I loved the thoughtful design, cozy seating, quieter spots, infinity pools, and shaded places to relax. The food we tried was excellent, and the views from Hudson’s dining room were beautiful. But my absolute favorite lounge on Norwegian ships is the Observation Lounge! Those ocean views make it the perfect place to read, scroll on your phone, or simply enjoy the scenery. They usually have light buffet items so you can grab a snack or a little sandwich. On our Norwegian Bliss Alaska cruise, I especially loved having Starbucks right in the lounge. It’s a spot I could happily spend hours enjoying! And the Prince tribute show? Absolutely spectacular! Reservations weren’t required on our sailing. We arrived at 6 p.m., the doors opened at 6:30, and we scored front-row seats! Our Aqua oceanview cabin also impressed me with its storage, lighted closets, and USB and USB-C charging options. After 11 previous cruises, I appreciated how often we found available elevators, which can make a difference for travelers using wheelchairs or scooters. The crew was exceptional, and two nights simply wasn’t enough. My biggest concierge tip starts before boarding: stay near your departure port the night before! We stayed in Fort Lauderdale, left our hotel at 10:30 a.m., and still faced a three-hour ordeal reaching our terminal after a fatal accident near PortMiami. NCL kept us updated through emails and texts and delayed departure that day, which helped ease our minds. That was an exception—never plan on the ship waiting.

If you’re considering a Norwegian cruise, I would definitely put Norwegian Aqua on your list. There’s so much to enjoy, whether you want activities and entertainment or a quiet place to unwind. I loved it, and I would happily sail again! I’m already looking forward to a seven-night Norwegian Luna cruise because I want more time to experience everything onboard. I’m also dreaming about booking Bella for May 2028 can you tell I love Norwegian’s Prima Class? Beautiful spaces, ocean views, and places to relax are exactly what I want in a getaway.
